This is awesome. My younger sister is finishing her first year of college, and she’s taking a gender studies class. Their final assignment includes writing an essay on the concept of patriarchy. She asked me to edit it for her. It’s really good.

Well, folks at large Midwestern Catholic university, I had a good time meeting you. I don’t begrudge you for not giving me your nice fellowship. What’s stinging a bit is getting that notice on the same day as two others.
Right now, I am 0/10 this year. The sadder thing, of course, is that since I spent the second half of the year working my ass off on these fellowship applications...
