Thanks for the info. It’s too bad, of course; that letter was in many ways written by the mayor I want to have. And perhaps by the kind of mayor that a movement committed to growth and horizontality may be able to use some of the emergent political momentum being channeled through the Decolonize Oakland movement to elect, if the people so choose.
