Power. This performance was a joy to watch. Kanye’s attention to detail is above reproach. Stark white background. Classically trained dancers. Ye draped in red and adorned in gold. Drama.
I also enjoyed the performance of “Runaway” until Pusha T wandered out like it was still 2002. His days of coke rap might be over but those cornrows are here to stay.
(Unfortunately the performances don’t seem to be available on Hulu. They’re even better in HD.)
