A Critical Lover’s Guide to Occupy Wall Street (by ahcoffino)

My students made this! I’m a talking head!

I’m really struck by the nuance of the discussions going on in this short video, as well as the fact that it allows a whole range of different discussions going on in and about this/these movement(s) to sit alongside each other without forcing them to be for it or against it in a simple way.  I wish that the principled care and creativity and commitment to struggle—not to resolve, not to posture, not to rehearse, but to struggle—with some of the contradictions at the heart of Occupy/Decolonize were more characteristic of the discussions taking place around it as a whole, online and off.  Thanks, love, and solidarity to you and your students.
