Christopher Hitchens was an Islamophobic ass who learned expertly to use his white privilege and British accent to shimmy his way into literary prominence and journalistic notoriety without really trying much at all.  Wishing death, as I do, on no one, I feel it important nevertheless to disclose that I am failing to experience even the slightest pang of sadness in the wake of the news of his passing.
