Question for the people I follow on Tumblr:
Tumblr seems somehow less public than regular blogs or Twitter. How do you feel about regular blogs linking back to your Tumblr log? And why isn’t the option to allow people to answer this appearing?
I’ve recently learned that there are people (whom I know) reading my Tumblog that I had no idea were reading it (hey folks!), so another level of publicity—being linked to by other blogs—doesn’t bother me terribly much. Though the knowledge that this is really not a private enterprise in any sense of the word definitely plays a role in what I do and don’t tend to post.
